Daniel brings research-level expertise in machine learning, optimization, and algorithm development. With a PhD in Machine Learning from the Technion, a postdoc at Princeton, and research stints at Microsoft Research in Cambridge and Redmond, he has spent over a decade working at the intersection of theory and application – from inventing state-of-the-art optimization algorithms to building production ML systems for algorithmic trading at The Voleon Group.

Through his consultancy Nirinor, Daniel helps businesses tackle the challenges that standard approaches can't solve: adapting models to changing reality, handling missing or messy data, and pushing performance beyond what off-the-shelf methods deliver. His approach combines deep technical rigor with genuine curiosity about what makes each business tick.

Gil is a seasoned developer and entrepreneur with over three decades of experience building software applications for corporate clients. His portfolio includes major Israeli institutions – Discount Bank, Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, Bank Hapoalim – as well as international brands like Goodyear and Dunlop. He specializes in taking products from design through to production using modern frontend architecture.

Currently serving as Frontend Architect at Discount Bank, Gil brings the kind of versatility that comes from years of working across industries – fintech, defense, edtech, entertainment, games and consumer products. Beyond development, he is a mentor, teacher, journalist, writer and speaks publicly on web technologies, reflecting a genuine commitment to the craft and the community around it.
